All,
I am looking for honest opinions from the industry here.... About a week ago I posted a concern regarding a 9002 error I am seeing when attempting to set an agent state. This in addition to other oddness seen in POM leads me to propose the question.... DOES POM API REALLY WORK? Has anyone had success in actually building a desktop client using ONLY the POM API? If a successful client was built... I am imagine that it required BOTH the POM API .AND. a secondary API (like TSAPI/CSTA via AES or tServer) in order to be successful. Please provide me some opinions here... And if anyone has any info regarding my 9002 post - Please provide your input there as well. As I need to wrap up this project QUICKLY. Thanks ++Todd |

I just started coding against POM after years of doing TSAPI and AES call control. POM is interesting.
*SOLUTION* Here is what got my 9998 to go away: 1) Make sure you specify the PORT and not just the IP address. In my case I believe the Agent Management port was 9970. 2) Also make sure you have your zone defined. The default is "Default" (case sensitive). Good luck. ++Todd |
