I used http://localhost:9070/SOAOI/scripting/services/ContactService?wsdl to get and set UUI info about a call.
You do need the ProviderContactID intrinsic to get to an active call but I was doing this via a web page from a screen pop in AACC so it was available to me.

Infrequent AACC developer looking for some pointer to all the various soap services that seem to exist on an install.
Loading IIS manager up I can see dozens of entries under default web site on the server.
Found test link in doc and all showing green so I know the various services are running.

In this instance, looking for service that can provide me all the Supervisor, Agent, Skillset, Application enumerations?
Have a service processing all the RTD feed with raw stats data and now need to have the reference lists to allow filtering.

Any pointers gratefully received!

The way I did that was to pass my required values in the call UUI data.

Then use AACC Screen pop facility passing in the ProviderContactID from the list of variables as a parameter to my web page. This is the key field to the Avaya web service http://youraaccservername:9070/SOAOI/scripting/services/ContactService , there are methods there to get the UUI etc

My web page used that ProviderContactID to get the UUI information from which I took my database account number.

How do I access HDX values set in aacc OD script in Workspaces?

I can see that the Avaya system widget Interaction Details has a section for Intrinsic name pairs. It is displaying a piece of information I need in a custom widget.
I have the Hello World sample widget loaded and cannot see the Intrinsic values mentioned in any of the objects.

I have searched the Workspaces dev guide and sample widgets, no reference to HDX.
I can see the ProviderContactID in Avaya widget matches the WorkRequestId field in the Interaction api so I have "key", was hoping there was a REST service I could call to get the Intrinsics into workspaces as a json?

Forgive me if missed something but other than AAEP/OD scripts, the rest of AACC integration is still new to me and finding my feet!

By chance noticed http://servername:9070/SOAOI/scripting/services/ContactService?WSDL has method to get Intrinsic name from ID.
I don't believe we can call SOAP based services in Workspaces and I don't see a rest equivalent of the SOAP service?

I can look to add a REST wrapper to request (also appears this customer site has not enabled TLS so workspaces would'nt allow http anyway).

Before I go away and do unnecessary dev work, any comments?

Managed to get friendly avaya engineer to create a user with all current configured agents as members and logged into cct test client with it, App then started populating the list of devices with the new members before crashing, I assume as CCT app using a fixed size array or something.
It did show though that, in theory I could have one account with contact centre agents associated and I would get the session details coming through.
We did see the CCT licenses racking up though so that is a concern.

What I don't really know right now is if there are limits around this in the API and AACC side, for example I know there is approx 600 concurrent agents. The group test we did added 118 fine (all he has setup so far) but not sure if there is a limit.
The Licensing definately needs validation.
Also unclear at this state the server load this will add.

Still feels like overkill and elaborate setup to be able to monitor cti users for basic established/disconnected events with basic info like DNIS/CLI/CDN/SkillSet

I have a requirement to monitor real time CTI events, server wide for an AACC contact centre.
Specifically looking for call alerting/established/Disconnected events for all stations.
I hope/expect to see DNIS/CLI as standard properties, and, ideally, get other aacc metadata such as Skillset.

Background is C# writing web services or windows services to integrate to 3rd parties.

Looking at the AACC development page it seems light on .NET options for real time information, from what I can tell only the CCT SDK is an option but happy to be advised otherwise to achieve requirement in the most RAD approach.

I have compiled the sample SDK app and waiting on access to run against customer AACC, not sure at this point if the SDK can register for events server wide or is it client / agent centric.

Any advise welcome.

Seems Avaya provided SDKs are light on managed NET

Not sure if RTD will cover my needs right now but we tend to develop in C# and most of the AACC toolkits appear legacy C++

AEP 7.2.3

Two servers, primary and Auxillary. Both wont connect to admin interface (showed service unavailable).
Auxillary AEP didn't take over when issue with primary.

As I could not connect to AEP manager Web site I checked AEP tomcat catalina.out and see;

I did a;

service vpms restart

which showed;

Stopping individual components:
Stopping Tomcat.............Counter: 10. Tomcat is not running: 0
Tomcat not shut down gracefully; forceful shut down being enacted

and was able to connect to aep admin again.

These servers are in UAT but we were about to go live. This has thrown that scheduling out if failing under such small load.

Any idea why above on the AEP tomcat instance?

My OP shows MPP and Global log error with speech timeout (shown in red on one line)
maxspeechtimeout referred

Couple things though;
Looks like Nuance request for grammar file is issue, should that not pass exception up the stack?
I am not getting the NoInput triggered, i believe because this is not being detected as noinput as technically its not, the grammar is missing
My original questions stand :(

I assume I will have to raise this through support as script is not getting exception (assuming my diagnosis is correct from logs in OP)
blocking customer sign off and go live now so not good.

I have a script using Nuance ASR.
Mostly fine but customer reported 3 calls that disconnected.

in OD I have a catch all error.runtime which I think is getting triggered, however not 100% sure as to use the mechanic metaphor; I know the engines stopped but not sure if run out of fuel or just switched off... (ok poor metaphor but basically not sure where issue lies)

From all above all I think I know right now is the Grammar call from EP is timing out? (10 seconds)
Causing an exception on the MPP?
Causing APP to terminate (either with my error.runtime? or through another route?)

Any ideas why not seeing error in App trace log, or even MPP log?
I expected to see an exception trace dump somewhere

...and where is this documentation if you dont have workspaces installed yet or access to administrator level on a deployment?

I am struggling to find a point of reference on Avaya site for the whole Workspaces development environment and process or technical detail to allow me to design a solution for a customer where widgets require developing to provide event handling and back end integration.

It is something the product team should take on board. Since Avaya has come out of its recent chapter 11 we have a number of customers investing again. I currently have 2 active EP script projects in UAT with customers and 2 more projects with potentially large scale self service IVR solutions to deliver.

I find OD both dated and cumbersome to use, certainly feels like it needs some love, it's in demand and still heavily promoted.

I have had the fortune to use other IVR products, most notably Voxeo, which as a developer is far far richer and object based making self service design and delivery so much easier.

The documentation should be worked on, examples should be included. Would probably help if this forum was updated to allow images to be included in posts without having to upload somewhere first.
I would be more inclined to respond on posts I can help with if could add screen shots to aid answer.

Avaya rest service does not support through the object palette node.

We had to write as java to implement

OD is lacking in many ways, this is one of them.

in the AEP admin under the application section there is a button for GAVs, Global Application Variables.
I have not looked (no need so far) at how they can be seen in OD and whether applications are able to modify them or if read only.

The EP help only mentions an admin can add, modify or delete them.
