So those meta data files would NOT be in the .war file? Unless I'm mistaken, the only way to get an idea of what the call flow is doing is by reviewing the logs? Both in AEP and in the trace.log files?

I have a client whose 3rd party vendor is no longer engaged and all they have are .war files. Is there a way to reverse engineer war files back to OD?

Yes it's 7.0.2. I thought so too. This is what I have configured. The only thing is I can't change the Performance trace options. Is that it?

I can't figure out why my trace.log file isn't appearing in the logs.
I changed my ddrt.properties to all enable settings. What am I missing?

That's odd because I have other applications with the same configuration and they work.
So how do you correct the issue? If I just remove the current one and add the 'correct' scert file, it blows up my app with errors. Is there a correct method to do it?

I have an issue when importing a new application in OD. The app doesn't automatically 'start' when I load it. When I try to manually start it, I get the following error:
FAIL - Encountered exception org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: Failed to start component [StandardEngine[Catalina].StandardHost[localhost].StandardContext
The catalina.out file produced the following:

I believe the issue is with different versions of jar files in OD and on the application server.
On the app server: apache-tomcat-7.0.69/lib/scertcommon-07.01.08.04.jar
My app version is scert-07.10.12.02
So my question is how do I resolve this? Simply changing the scert version to 07.01.08.04 on my app just causes a whole new slew of errors.
Am I wrong in my diagnosis?

AAOD 7.0.1
After compiling and deploying an application, this error popped up. No changes were made to the application.
The type java.util.Map$Entry cannot be resolved. It is indirectly referenced from required .class files
Not sure why this happened...

I recently installed an older version of OD (AAOD 7_0_1), and when I try to switch perspective to 'Speech', the option is not available. Any assistance would be most appreciated.

Ok, I'm still not getting it. So when I rename testAPI.java, am I renaming inside OD? Or renaming on the windows directory? I renamed it in windows, and when I made the slight change in OD and saved the app, the error went away...along with the java code. But I did copy testAPI.java first, created a new java servlet and named it API20BN (I know that name doesn't exists anywhere). When I copy the java code to the new servlet, I get the exact same error.
