Have you checked in web-inf/lib if there is a copy of the old project/application?
Happens sometime and then it is the old application that starts even if the EPMS points to the new application.

I right click on an app, let's say it is called APP_v1, and choose copy/paste as APP_v2.
Then APP_v1.jar ends up in the folder APP_v2/WEB-INF/lib, and if I try to deploy and run APP_v2 it starts APP_v1 since that (previous) app is in web-inf. (and to correct this I have to delete APP_v1.jar from APP_v2/WEB-INF/lib).

Hi,
Sometimes when I copy an application the old apps jar file ends up in WEB-INF/lib which is really annoying, because when I deploy the new application it is actually the old application that starts (without changes). In the attached example I have copied SE_xxxyyy_170 to SE_xxxyyy_171
Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening? I haven't been able to figure out when this happens, it is not every time but annoyingly often... :-)
Best regards
Anders

Hi,
When I build applications I tend to use Report items everywhere.
Is there a quick way to find all nodes that have a Report in them (so I can delete them)? Or do I have to go through the entire application node by node manually?
Best regards /// Anders

I don't think that will work in the Application Simulator (but I could be wrong).
The app sim processes the input when you press "Send Digits" and not when you enter the # (or *).

Hi,
I want to write a logfile with some errors and I want to include the application name. Found an old thread about that ( https://www.devconnectprogram.com/forums/posts/list/6416.page#p34301) but I don't get it to work.
Should mySession.getRequest().getParameter("__VPappname"); still work or is that depreciated?
Our environment is EP 7.2.3.0.0529 and OD 7.2.3.0803
Best regards
Anders

My bad!
Seems to work as it should; had forgotten that I had the same wsdl in another application not using the module!

I have an application (i.e it is a module) with two web services that used to be on http://10.158.1.185 but now we are moving all web services to another server http://10.158.1.161
So what I have done is change the web service URL (WSDL1.png) to the new address (and saved and redeployed the module on the application servers).
For some reason it still uses the same old address and if I do a search in the project I can see that the stub still contains the old address (WSDL2.png).
What do I do wrong? Do I have to delete the web services and recreate them from scratch?

Always play twice?
Wouldn't the easiest way to just add two prompts to the announcement node?
Or maybe add two phrases (the same) to the prompt?
Then it will be played twice...

Hi,
First:
EP 7.2.0
OD 7.0.1.0804
I'm building a web service that should send ssn like this in the message body:
{
ssn: 195107243049
}
...so I created a web service with POST + query and JSON {ssn:_{inSSN}_} in the message body.
My problem is that I get { ssn:195107243049}:{ ssn:195107243049} as the message body instead of just { ssn:195107243049}
Why?

Never mind!
Found a possible solution with HttpURLConnection/URLConnection!
URL url;
try {
url = new URL("http://someserver:8080/Announcements/_TST/outage1.wav");
URLConnection conn = null;
try {
conn = url.openConnection();
if(conn instanceof HttpURLConnection) {
((HttpURLConnection)conn).setRequestMethod("HEAD");
}
conn.getInputStream();
System.out.println( conn.getContentLength());
mySession.getVariableField(IProjectVariables.SIZE_INFO).setValue(conn.getContentLength());
} catch (IOException e) {
throw new RuntimeException(e);
} finally {
if(conn instanceof HttpURLConnection) {
((HttpURLConnection)conn).disconnect();
}
}
} catch (MalformedURLException e1) {
// TODO Auto-generated catch block
e1.printStackTrace();
}

Hi,
We have outage announcements in all our applications where operations can upload temporary announcements in case of an outage, and when the outage is over they upload a silent announcement (well, it is 0.1 second of silence).
Now we want to log all customers that have heard an outage announcement so we can send a text message to them that the problem is solved.
So, how can I measure the length (or size) of an announcement?
The aoouncements are AudioURLs, like http://someserver:8080/Announcements/outage1.wav

TFN? As in TeleFoN in Swedish? (i.e telephone in english)
Then session:ANI would do the trick!
