Thanks for you reply. I do see an encryptionSync but not sure if it is in the right place in the call flow. I am attaching the RegisterTerminalRequest and MediaStartEvent. The MediaStartEvent doesn't have the encryption block. Please let me know how to trouble-shoot this. I didn't receive any error or exception in any of the API calls.

We are using the DMCC SDK to record encrypted calls. We did single step conference the DMCC softphone to e call and verified that the media is encrypted using WireShark. However, the PayLoadType, TransmitKey and ReceiveKey are missing in the MediaStartedEvent. We are using the certificate exported from the AES server, have used UseSSL = true in StartApplicationSession and the specified "aes" as the encryption in the mediaInfo of RegisterTerminal.
Please let me know how to troubleshoot this.
Thanks,

Hi,
While info like calledDevice, callingDevice, originalCallInfo, etc are available thru CSTA_ESTABLISHED, CSTA_DELIVERED, only if have already set up monitoring, I want to know if it is possible to get the calledDevice, callingDevice, originalCallInfo, etc using TSAPI for an active call using combinations of snapshotdevice, snapshotcall or others API in case a device is not monitored.

Hi Joel,
It is the samecall. I do obtain the CallId for TSAPI Exerciser thru snapshotDevice and for the failed application thru call established. I first run my app, then make call, try to do single step conference, which fails and then see if TSAPI Exerciser works, which works. I can attached the full log if you want.
Thanks,

Hi Joel,
I need to put the single-step conferencing part in TSAPI. The error code EventBufPtr->event.cstaConfirmation.u.universalFailure.error is VALUE_OUT_OF_RANGE. I have noticed that the monXref is negative for all my csta calls even for cstaMonitorDevice in the AES TSAPI log whereas it is positive for the TSAPI Exerciser. I do am getting the needed Call Events after calling cstaMonitorDevice. Anyway, is it possible to have access to the TSAPI Exerciser source code (atleast the acsOpenStream, attSingleStepConference and cstaEscaoeService part) so that I can see what it the difference.
Thanks,
Saibal

Hi,
This is regarding the RTP payload load type. I am using IP Softphone with the Simulator. I noticied that using Wireshark, the RTP payload type is dynamic (106, etc.) and uses H.225 for negotation. I want to know whether this can be available from TSAPI or any other API.

Hi,
I am trying to use DMCC softphone and TSAPI attSingleStepConferenceCall/cstaEscapeService to do single step conferencing. I am using the Simulator that don't support media. However, the API call shouldn't fail. I created the softphone in DMCC/.NET and then use TSAPI to do the single step conferencing. I am getting CSTA UNIVERSAL_FAILURE. Please note that when I use the TSAPI Exercisier, there is no failure. I am attaching TSAPI SPY trace and AES TSAPI trace. I noticed that the monXref is always NEGATIVE in AES TSAPI log.
Please let me know,
Thanks,
Saibal Das
