The following is a Web Services sample.
In DD4.1, we can use code:
===================================
@SuppressWarnings("static-access")
public void configureAuthentication(Stub stub) {
String endPoint = (String)mySession.getProperty("ENDPOINT");
stub._setProperty(stub.ENDPOINT_ADDRESS_PROPERTY, endPoint);
super.configureAuthentication(stub);
}
=================================
But after i put the application in DD5.0.
The method getProperty() cannot be found.
And then i found com.avaya.sce.runtimecommon.IRuntimeSession mySession is a new interface class. In DD4.1, it's SCESession.
so how can i get the value from session which is stored in session by SCESession.setProperty("ENDPOINT") ?

1. Also I have tried to use connectionid, still coundn't work.
<transition event="connection.alerting" state="init">
<log expr="'-- ' + event$.name +' -- [' + state +']'"/>
<log expr="' eventdata... \n' + objectToString(event$)"/>
<assign name="in_connectionid" expr="event$.connectionid"/>
<assign name="ani" expr="event$.connection.remote"/>
<reject/>
</transition>
The vp system always give the caller ringtone.
2. I am sure that the url is correct, because i just modified the file name and point to the copied page.
Please look at the following, if i change "getrouting.jsp" to "newname.jsp" (the copied page name and put in the same file directory), it would not work properly.
<transition event="connection.connected" state="init">
<assign name="state" expr="'waiting'"/>
<fetch next="'<%=locationLocal%>/jsp/getrouting.jsp'" type="'text/ecmascript'" namelist="ani"/>
</transition>

1.I tried to reject a call with "<reject/>", but it didn't work on VP, i don't know why, it seems it can work in simulator.
2. I tried to invoke a jsp page with "<fetch>", but it cannot work except i rename the jsp page name to "getrouting", even i copied the getrouting page and named the copied as an another name, it couldn't work properly.
So why?
Thanks in advance.

I know what you mean, and i have tried, but we need to release the vp ports, if we use join to do this, cannot release the two ports, if we use merge, vp4.1 doesn't support H.323.
So any other ideas? Can i do it with CTI?
Thanks a lot.

I have a requirement like this:
Before transfering to an agent, always play the ringtone to the caller, we have to check agent status, if cannot transfer to agent or agent didn't answered, then send a message to someother system and hangup. if can, then transfer to agent, but after agent answered the call, we need to play a sound to agent, and then connect the caller.
It's a special requirement, so can i do it with DD directly?
Thanks in advance.

If the caller hangup the call, what would the VP do if it cannot capture hangup event? continue the callflow and wait for input from caller until timeout?
From my testing, the callflow will stop and throw some exceptions. but i want to know the exact answer.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, I have tried to create two static dtmf grammars,one is for input 6 digits and one pound which has 7 columns, the seventh column just has #(the property "repeat" is 0-1), another is for 6 pounds. A little problem is that you have to wait timeout if you just key 6 pounds. And after user input we have to remove the # character from the key string that user press(ex. 123456#).

1.Allow user to input 6 digits password then press #
2.Allow user to input 6 # to transfer to another node.
I tried to use a Link to capture 6 # but doesn't work. because # is a terminating character. once you press it, the system will throw error.
So how to resolve this issue?
Thanks in advance!
Thanks,

» What event will ICC throw when error happened?, 22/02/2009 04:08:01

The key problem is that if the icc has error, the calllflow even cannot execute, because when you dial the number, the system will throw icc exception. but we need the callflow can run even the vox is down or some errors happen on icc. So someone suggested that catch the error.runtime event firstly, then check vduid. if vduid is empty, we think icc has error and ask the calllflow to continue.
But now if icc had error, after we catched the event, we don't know if the error is caused by icc or not(because any exception will throw error.runtime like you said).
We need to know what error it is, if the error is caused by icc, continue the callflow, if not, then play an error prompt and end the callflow.

When error happens on ICC, a runtime exception will throw, what is the event name exactly?
I know it will throw error.runtime, but this event contains other error caused by something else, not only ICC.
I want to know the specific event name.
Thanks,
Yunjiao

I want to pass chinese words into next module as an input paramater, but i found vp cannot work properly. english is ok.
I think it's a URL encoding problem, when VP invoke next node URL that contains chinese words, it will not work properly. next module will not receive the parameter value.
Does VP support other languages except english?
If Yes, how to do it?
Thanks!

When i use a built-in gramma and set digit 0-10, the gramma seems that it cannot work properly, because if i press # directly, it will throw nomatch event. so why?
How to design a gramma which can allow input empty(0 digit) ?
