Will the TTS media resource also be cached on MPP?
example:
If the application played one TTS phrase for many times during one call, or many call played the same TTS phrase(such as welcome phrase), how would MPP do with TTS Server? get the resource from TTS server for each time or cache the resource on MPP?

Thanks,

Hi, Expert
If we select CIF as Video Screen Format in EP, but use QCIF format in OD, or we select QCIF format in EP but use CIF in OD, what will happen when running?
Thanks,

How about the system variables in module?such as date, session, shareduui.
Are they stored in each module or shared in SCESession?
And how are they passed from main module to sub module?

Hi, Expert
We want to implement a speed dial on menu selection.
For example, if the flow is "menu( press 1)->menu(press 2)->menu(press 3)->menu(press 4)->the 4th option", Can i press 1,2,3,4 very quickly to go to menu(4)-option 4?
I tried, if i press 1,2,3,4 slowly, it works very fine, but if i press quickly, then there will be some keys missed. Sometimes 1,2 are valid, 3,4 are missed; sometimes 1,2,3 are valid, 4 is missed.
So why? do we have a good way to do this?
Thanks,
Yunjiao

If i put only one grammar which is used to interrupt prompt, it is ok, but if i put two grammars, another is used to collect 5 digits, it will not interrupt the prompt playing.
Another thing is that I have to put the NoInput(Goto) in P/C node, which is used to go to next node if user doesn't input the defined key. or the flow will wait for input at P/C node.
Anyway, i think i have got the answer, thank you very much.

Thanks, we are considering to use external grammar. External grammar will put the URL in vxml file generated by OD, then MPP will get this vxml include the grammar URL. but how MPP will do after it get this vxml? Can it pass this URL info to ASR? or MPP would get the grammar by itself according to this URL?

Hi, Expert
We have a customer need to put all of the ASR grammars in their ASR server. We need OD to tell their ASR server which grammar file will be used in the request, it needs OD to pass the grammar file path and name to ASR server, then ASR will use this grammar on local machine.
Example: file:///C:\\grammars\mygrammar.grxml
My question is how DD can pass this infomation to ASR server, by MRCP? how to do?
and what is the mechanism of communication between OD,MPP and ASR?
This is a big issue for us now, need you help.
Thanks,
Yunjiao

When we store some properties by invoking mySession.setProperty(), does that mean the property will be stored in the mySession Object, not http session?

» How to define timeout dynamically, 17/02/2012 02:00:34

Hi, Expert
Currently, we can define input timeout and terminating character in property item, but we cannot select a variable as value, customer wants to implement it as dynamic input,
Can we do it in code?
Actually, they want to develop a common module to handle all of the customer prompt play and input.
This module will receive the different parameters from different parent flow, such as input timeout, terminating character, dynamic prompt and dynamic grammer.
Thanks,
Yunjiao

Hi,
Do we have the document to introduce which method can be override, which method cannot be modify?
Customer think OD is very complex, they don't know why some of them are generated automatically by OD, some of them we need to override. They need a document to tell them.
Example, how to know we need to implement servletImplementation method in Servlet node?
How to know we need to override updateChoices in menu node in order to implement a dynamic menu?
If we have this kind of document, please share with us.
Thanks,
Yunjiao

Hi,
Currently, when we create a variable in project.variables, we can define the name and default value, but cannot add the description to the variable.
Our customer need it. they want to add some detail description to the variable, example: what does the variable mean? what does the value mean? such as "0-disabled,1-enabled".
Thanks

Can we define some variables only for sub flow? if main flow doesn't invoke sub flow, these variables will not use memory. the variables can also be released when existing sub flow.
I know currently sub flow will use the same variables which be defined in project.variables with main flow. Just double check. customer concern about memory usage very much.
Another question:
Does the DD project use the same Class Loader with web container? or use the separate framework with defferent Class Loader?
