How do you invoke the install.sh ?
Do you drag drop it to a terminal / double click it to execute or navigate to it on terminal and execute it ?
We also have a special script called install.command for Mac users - but this internally calls install.sh too.

Hello Don ,
Just wanted to confirm the scenario here :
1. Your client app has subscribed for events for extension A .
2. When you make a call using ECC for A to B , Assuming B answers and then you place A on hold ?
3. How long into the call are you placing A on Hold ?
What error are you seeing with this operation ?

Are these users registered on soft clients ? If so which versions are you using ?

Are you able to intercept the call ?
Once intercepted , you can send digits programmatically using API call below :

Using sendDigits method in MediaService, you can send digits (DTMF tones) to a participant in a
call. The method also allows you to register a MediaListener instance, so that you get a callback to
perform some actions after the send digits operation completes. The sendDigits API supports
sending the set of digits { A,B,C,D, 0-9, *, # }. A typical use of this API will look like the below code
snippet.
//Obtain a participant
Participant participant = ... ;
//The digits to be
sentString digits = "D19175";
//create an instance of MediaListenerMediaListener
listener = new MediaListenerAbstract()

No the 3.0.2 is not GA yet. Sorry for the confusion.

The click to call sample service is bundled with the 3.0.1 SDK.
Is 19151@snapin.avaya.com same as the callingparty you are sending from the HTTP request

To help you troubleshoot you can increase logging level by executing commands below:

ce dlogon FINEST
Increase log level of asm.log located @ /var/log/Avaya/sm


ce dlogon <servicename> FINEST
Increase log level for service logs located at /var/log/Avaya/services/<servicename>/<servicename.log>

What are the types of endpoints you are using for this - are they CM endpoints or just pure SIP ones?

Which CE platform build are you trying this on ?

The WAS NPE might be causing a timeout response which fails the same.

Where are you writing this initiate method ?
If you are using 3.0.2 , did you get a chance to look at our ClickToCall sample service?

Hi John,

Are you using CE 3.0 ? If not which CE platform version are you using?
If yes , could you try the following steps :

1. Put cluster in denying state
2. Edit cluster
Increase the values of
a) HTTP or HTTPS limit on connections
b) HTTP or HTTPS traffic rate limit in bytes/sec

3. Save the changes and place cluster in accepting mode.
