I was tasked to get an understanding of the learning curve to create new IVR applications via Orchestration designer. Hoping to get a high level as to what the minimum requirements (skill sets) are from a developers standpoint to create OD IVR applications which would then be imported to experience portal application server for inbound campaigns (not running OD directly in the flow, would be just to generate the project (WAR) and deploy in the existing experience portal environment). I understand it really depends on how complex the application needs to be and what the business requirements are, but just trying to get a baseline. I have downloaded the OD environment and have it working to some extent, and have been reviewing the developers guide and plan to play around with some sample applications. My background is in Avaya Aura administration for core products (CM/AES/SM/SBC etc.) From what I can see a dedicated developer is required with a background in web services, database programming, java programing, APIs, eclipse IDE etc.
Any insight would be appreciated.
