Thanks Neil, but if we want to achieve the link facility for a particular subflows, is it possible? Since sub flows just have starting node but not the App root, so is there any way to make the link scoped for a particular sub flow only. Can we give a servlet and write the link code in that servlet at the very begining of the sub flow so that it'll become global to that sub flow.

Thanks Ross, for the reply, but in DD guide i read that different module will have different session data, so it may hamper the current flow data, please help out us by clarifying this.

I am using Java and I went through the sample applications also but in sample apps they have used SessionCharacteristics objects only to set the deviceIdType and eventFilterMode and after that they used provider.setSessionCharacteristics(sessionObj);
I sthis enough to initialize the session?
Thanks & Regards,

Hi John,
I made out the solution, Now I am getting the peoper flow.
I took the LocalDeviceId object and set the callingDeviceId in it, and after that by using the connId object i have set the localdeviceId into it and its working fine.
Thanks for reply.
I have one more query that before initializing the provider object and setting all the properties into it how to initialize the session for that particullar provider and how to get it?
Thanks & Regards,
Ars

Hi Team,
I am going through the development of one application.
My program objective:- To make conference.
In a particullar place of the program when the Established event of the call is occured, I am creating a HoldCall request and passing the established connection Id in the request.setCallToBeHeld(connId); to hold the call and once the call is held, then in Held event i am making another call by providing the extension Id.
But i am getting the error as ResourseBusyException.
My observation:- When i am passing the Connection Id request and I am printing the connection Id then it is printing the connection Id i.e. containing the extension Id of the extension at which I made the first call .
My assumption--I think it should contain the extension ID of the extension at which the call has been held.
Please help me out. :(
Thanks & Regards

Hi John
Thanks for the reply, Can i know the services/methods that cause the cell phone to register/interact with the CM?
How can we get the device ID of the cell phone so that we can make it familiar to the CM?
Example:- Mostly for all Telecom service provider there used to be a service i.e. automatic dialing out the number of the customer regarding offers and all which are programmed to happen at a particullar interval of time in a day or a week.
So how they are feeding that device/extension ID of the cell phone(@ PSTN) to CM which is triggering the PBX to place the call.
note:- Example sited above is for a particullar organization probably like closed user group.

Ars

I have developed one CTI application and its working fine, My main concern is that I want to use the message service i.e. How can I trace the incoming message(data call) with help of my application i.e. I want to integrate my application with Messaging service. And similarly how can I send the message to any other terminal in the loop via my CTI application?
Please help me out by briefing some ideas.

Hi All,
I am new to the JTAPI. I came across an issue that how to get the UCID of the incoming call.
I am retrieving the UUI by using:
LucentCallInfo callInfo = (LucentCallInfo) conn.getCall();
UserToUserInfo uui=callInfo.getUserToUserInfo();
But i am not getting the UCID(universal call id), as my object of LucentCallInfo i.e. callInfo doesnt have any method to get that.
Please help me out ASAP.
Thanks & Regards

I am facing an issue in one of my application,
Scenario: After the agent interaction with caller, agent will disconnect the call. However the customer call will be automatically routed to another VDN to route to the App2 IVR application. (This is achieved by enabling the Auto transfer feature on CM)
Call flow: Customer -> Main IVR -> Agent -> Agent Disconnect (auto transfer) -> App2 IVR
Issue: After agent disconnects the call, call is getting routed to App2 application as required. However, once the App2 application ends, customer call was again put back on the start of the App2 application. This continues in loop.
Call flow: Customer -> Main IVR -> Agent -> Agent Disconnect (auto transfer) -> App2 IVR -> App2 IVR End (here call should get disconnected) -> App2 IVR Start
Note:- However this scenario of auto looping doesn't occur if auto-transfer is turned off on CM and agent manually transfers to App2 IVR.
Thanks!
