TSAPI.PRO & log4j2.propertirs file should be in CLASSPATH. In case of TOMCAT you can keep Tomcat/lib folder.
Entry in TSAPI.PRO file should be -

Change value of debugLevel as per your requirement 0 - means NO Log.
Keep 5 to set level as DEBUG.

You can also use log4J2.properties file to control logging.

We are also using Avaya JTAPI jar version 8.1.3.6 and facing issue related to logging. Our Avaya connector works as webservice deployed on Tomcat. In our case JTAPI logger reads our log4j2 properties file as I can see appender name in log file but also writing JTAPI logs and application logs in catalina.out and stdout log files. Both JTAPI & our application logs coming in our application log file too.
Can you please guide me about below things-
- What will be path of TSAPI.Pro file in case of Tomcat web service? I put in Tomcat/lib folder
-What will be path of Avaya JTAPI log4j2.properties file for Tomcat web service deployment?
-Is it possible to keep different log4j2 configuration file for our application logging and for Avaya JTAPI logging?

We are planning to write Recording Application for Avaya Aura CC Elite. Can you please guide us the starting point? As per our study below are the findings-
- We need to initiate Single Step conference from agent phone to bring our recorder extension in conference. Is it correct or there is another way to fork media streams.
-For Single Step Conference we can use JTAPI API.
- For recording we need to register recorder extension using DMCC API and call DMCC recording API to record calls when recording extension receives call.

As John suggested, blind transfer is consultative transfer, only difference is application do not wait from answering of call from called party.

Also either for consultative transfer or SST there should be an active call. For SST please follow FAQ https://www.devconnectprogram.com/site/global/products_resources/avaya_aura_application_enablement_services/support/faq/jtapi/programming.gsp#270

As per my understanding hang-up is general telephony terms used i.e. user puts receiver.

In technical terms, you will get connectionDisconnected event and terminalConnectionDropped event .
Connection is related to Address and Terminal Connection is related to Terminal.

To get Address i.e. extension, you can get from event object which application is receiving with the event. From terminalConnectionDropped(CallControlTerminalConnectionEvent event) to get address/extension you can try event.getTerminalConnection().getConnection().getAddress().getName().

Hope this will help you, rest all are logic as per your requirement.

This is 2 server setup. There are 2 AES and 2 application server. When agent transfers call from server side -1 to server side - 2 we need to transfer application data from Side-1 to Side-2.
Is there way 2 get call object based on UCID? We can get call object based on call id bud didn't find any way to get call object based on UCID.

This is strange because we are getting issue in our lab and customer setup both. If we dial/consult invalid number from AES TSAPI Diagnostics tool we are getting OUT_OF_SERVICE event.
We will ask our Avaya Vendor to open ticket for the issue.

I think in place of consult transfer you should use Single Step Transfer to achieve this.

This issue is important for us. Can you please let us know if this is known issue? providerShutDown() in this scenario is major issue for production site.
