Hi, we are trying to add/update agents into AACC using the CCMA open interfaces (web services). We are using Java for the development. We are able to get the list of agents without any issue. But, we are having trouble in adding/updating agent details. Is there any example/sample Java code to do this please?

Hi John, we are having the same problem. Can you please let me know if there has been any other neater way of doing this? Also, can we use DMCC just for sending DTMF to an internal vector?

Hi, We are trying to access the LDAP management interface on CM Messaging (CM 6.x), but not sure what the base DN is to access the CM Messaging. We used to be able to access Modular Messaging LDAP using "OU=People,DC=Avaya", but it doesn't work with CM Messaging. Any ideas please? We have created a trusted server with LDAP access.

Hi, is there a way to manage CM Messaging using AES SMS web services interface? If not, I believe CM Messaging provides LDAP interface for managing subscribers. We are trying to access the LDAP management interface on CM 6.x, but not sure what the base DN is to access the CM Messaging. We used to be able to access Modular Messaging LDAP using "OU=People,DC=Avaya", but it doesn't work with CM Messaging. Any ideas please?

Thanks John. Just to clarify, even if we use DMCC, it still uses the Advanced TSAPI license for these features doesn't it?

Hi John, sorry to dig up this old post. Can you please confirm if this attSelectiveListeningHold function requires special TSAPI licenses? We have standard TSAPI license which is allowing us to monitor stations, do all other TSAPI phone & call control functions.

Hi, we are writing a customized JTAPI based softphone application for which we are trying to use the 'ATT_SELECTIVE_LISTENING_HOLD' function. We got an error when trying to do this and we tried with the TSAPI exerciser and we are getting the same error. The error we are getting is 'GENERIC_SUBSCRIBED_RESOURCE_AVAILABILITY'. Is this some kind of configuration error or a license error please? Either way, can anyone help us out to point us in the right direction?

Thanks for the reply John.
Yes, I also understood from my readings that OSPC uses H.323 interface to CM. Is there any documentation related to this in DevConnect?

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right forum for this question. The Avaya OSPC and the new one-x attendant uses an API called soft console API (SCAPI). This seems to be an API exposed directly by CM. Is there any documentation about this or are these functions of SCAPI made available through AES DMCC or some other protocol?

Any other option using Dialog Designer/voice portal to achieve the same functionality without this blip? Or, do you know if this behavior can be changed somehow in CM?

Hi, we are using CTI blind transfer from a voice portal application to transfer the caller to a range of VDNs depending on their identification and selections. We are also passing caller information on UUI field that is used for screen pop by One-X agent. During CTI blind transfer, the caller hears a blip of hold music and then whatever treatment is programmed in the vector. We understand that the blip of hold music is due to the caller placed on hold during the CTI transfer. The customer wants to replace this by silence or ring. Any idea on how this can be achieved in voice portal/dialog designer/CM?
Few more details regarding our situation:
. We cannot use converse on as we don't have EAS licenses for voice portal stations
. CTI consultative transfer also does the same thing
. If we manually try to hold and transfer call, we are unable to hear announcements/menus in the vectors till the call is queued/routed to a station
. We have to use CTI based transfer as we want to pass UUI data for screen pop
. We are using H.323 as we do not have session manager for SIP

Dear Mahathi,
No, the actual issue was not resolved. We couldn't get the aai on H.323. So, we ended up using a work around in the application. But, if you can help us get the aai working with H.323, it would be great!

There are entries in CCXML-Global.log. But, there is nothing in the CCXML-SessionSlot logs which is what we need to troubleshoot the application
