Attempting to monitor a hunt-group where acd=n gives an error "invalidDeviceID" in the DMCC Dashboard.exe:

Changing the hunt-group from acd=n to acd=y, allows the monitor to proceed correctly.
How can we monitor hunt-group activity where acd=n?

Hi, we have developed an application to call monitor real-time events on skills and agents. Do the DMCC APIs work with Avaya Aura Call Center Elite Multichannel also? Are there any differences or incompatibilities?

For example, for each agent/skill we do:

1. Get the Device ID. dev.GetDeviceId
2. Start a monitor on the phone. monExt.Device.getPhone.StartMonitor
3. Start a monitor on the phone’s media. monExt.Device.getPhone.getMedia.StartMonitor
4. Start a monitor on the call controller. serviceProvider.getThirdPartyCallController.StartMonitor
5. On the call controller, get the ACD Split. serviceProvider.getThirdPartyCallController.GetAcdSplit
6. Get the Physical Device. serviceProvider.GetPhysicalDeviceName
7. On the call controller, get the Agent Login. serviceProvider.getThirdPartyCallController.GetAgentLogin
8. On the call controller, get the Agent State. serviceProvider.getThirdPartyCallController.GetAgentState
9. For “station” devices, get a device snapshot on the call controller. serviceProvider.getThirdPartyCallController.SnapshotDevice

I'm being asked if it's possible to show the actual answering attendant extension in CDR. CDR only seems to display 0 as the called number.

Test call is as follows:

1. Incoming call from 3331232135 rings the listed directory number 44444

2. Attendant #1 (ext32140) rings for 4s

3. Attendant #1 answers and talks for 16s

4. Attendant #1 drops the call

Received CDR is:

01261512510800004 G 44444 3331232135 001 210 0 0 09999135341422301863 0 0

01261512511200016 9 0 3331232135 001 210 7 0 0 09999135341422301863 0 1

In CDR, the dialed-number shows 0 for the answered record. I want to instead show the answering extension of 32140

Is it possible to use the one-X attendant software in the BDE environment? If yes, are there any configuration steps required on BDE to enable an attendant? Also, where can I download the one-X attendant software?

Alright figured this out.

Simply had to use OnGetHookswitchResponse and look at getOnHookState.

Example:

oDevice.getPhone.GetHookswitchStatus(null);

void PhoneServicesClass_OnGetHookswitchResponse(object sender, Phone.GetHookswitchResponseArgs e)
{
MessageBox.Show(e.getOnHookState.ToString());
}

I think I am a little closer, though would still appreciate a little assistance or nudge in the right direction.

From what I am reading in the java docs GetHookswitchStatusResponse will actually contain a list of hookswitches and their respective statuses. This sounds exactly what I am looking for.

I get a blank line on test.hookswitch because it doesn't actually contain any information.

Not sure how I would get a GetHookswitchStatusResponse to work with though.

I am developing an application that needs to read hookswitch status on a device when it's started.

I could not find a proper method of doing this in the documentation.

The simpleRecord application seems to use PhoneServicesClass_OnHookSwitchUpdatedEvent to read hook states. Is this the correct way of doing this?

I see the Device.getPhone.GetHookswitchStatus(), although, for the life of me, cannot figure out how to properly use this as the documentation/forums do not describe it that well.

Doing something like:
GetHookswitchStatus test = new GetHookswitchStatus();
oDevice.getPhone.GetHookswitchStatus(test);
MessageBox.Show(test.hookswitch);
gives me a blank line.

Perhaps I am simply doing this incorrectly and would appreciate it very much if someone could enlighten me.
