» ASR and Maximum Speech property, 07/06/2022 05:11:11

Hi,
AAOD Developers Guide says about Maximum Speech property:
"Enter the number of seconds you want to allow the caller to
continue speaking before the system ends the recognition
attempt and throws a maxspeechtimeout event.
This property has no default value. The default value for this
is set on the ASR server. If you set a value in this field, this
value overrides the default on the ASR server."
Everything fine but sometimes my ASR behaves very strange and do not reply with maxspeech timeout event what causes to hold caller for long minutes without any response from system whitch is terrible from CX perspective. My idea is to handle that in some way in OD application. So the question - is there any way to override some method in prompt&collect node and rise exception after mount of time similar to configured maximum speech property?
My system: OD v7.2.1, Tomcat 8, Nuance ASR
Thanks.

Fetch timeout is handled on epms (epms event handler). I would like to REST response timeout got catched at application level after configured amount of time.
I did some additional tests in my test environment and it seems that Timeout flag works both with connect timeout and RESET webservice response timeout. I'm not sure why in my production env works different. I'm realy confused.

Hi,
when creating RESET WS file I have Timeout flag witch is documented as:
"The maximum time, in seconds, that the
system must wait to authenticate and
connect to the Web server that hosts the
REST Web service."
My question is: what about webservice response timeout ? My external webservice sometimes gets in trouble witch ends with 30 seconds or more response time. In that case application ends with fetch timeout what is not my favourite way :-)
Is there any way to throw timeout exception with number of seconds of my choice ?
I'm running OD 7.2, java 1.8, tomcat 8.5.23
Thanks.

Thanks that worked.
Do you know if there is any way to force OD to put the same into exported war file name (e.g. projectName##1.0.0.war) to show version on Tomcat manager ?

Hi,
simple question: Project -> properties -> Orchestartor designer -> general -> version filed. Is there any way to get this field from a java code ? I'm able to get name with mySession.getAppName() but there is no method for version.
Thanks.

Not exactly :-)
I would like to save tts generated prompt as a sound file (e.g. wav). Something like this:
- develop Speech project
- take some text from database
- create TTS prompt
- save it to wave file in some directory of tomcat server
Thanks.

Hi,
EPMS 7.2.1 with CM 8.1.1.
When vector step using route-to command with coverage = y to EPMS stations hunt group "called numer" visible on EPMS is allways hunt group extension. When route-to step used with coverage = n "Called number" is correct - vdn number.
Any way to change this behaviour? I can not use coverage due to incorrect EPMS application launch based on "called number"
Thanks.

The problem is that there is no thrown events for ASR errors. Platform takes only action defined in <error></error> section of vxml_error.vxml handler.

Hi,
I'm testing Nuance 10.5 Speech server with AAOD 7.2.1. Question is - is there any way to catch error event comming from ASR service ?
when TTS service is gone, epms platform generates error.noresourse.tts or error.unsupported.language but with ASR there is no such a event. Epms log viewer shows only "CHANNEL_RESULT_ASR_GONE" or "TTS server failed. Server name: ttsSrv state: Get Parameters with message: unknown server error..".
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

» How to force AAOD 7 Webservice to use TLSv1.1 or 1.2, 14/12/2015 03:07:13
» Go to message

Hi,
I'm running AAOD 7.0.1 application with webservices client tru SSL/TLS. With java version 1.6 or 1.7 axis library using TLSv1.0 by default and there is no simple way to force other version. I tried to change tomcat configuration with following JAVA_OPTS params:
-Dhttps.protocols=TLSv1.1
or
-Ddeployment.security.TLSv1=false -Ddeployment.security.TLSv1.1=true
It seems it works fine with normal https connection but not with axis which still uses TLS1.0 for unknown reasons. Webservices server I'm using is about to disable TLSv1.0 in nearly future.
After my findings I think I have two ways:
- upgrade to java 1.8 which using TLSv1.2 by default. Since AAOD 7 supports only up to java 1.7 it's not perfect solution
- develop my own axis webservice client form scratch
Any other ideas ?
Thanks.

Helllo,
I have my own simple CTI apllication and need to add feature to handle Direct Agent Calls. The problem is when agent is not ready (e.g. on AUX) and DAC call is generated there is no TSAPI event for agent or station.
My goal is to force agent to go ready state when DAC call arrives. Has anyone any ideo how to achive this ?
