Release 7.0.1

Avaya Desktop Wallboard Service Pack 4 (Release 7.0.1.4) was issued in October 2019; Service Pack 6 (Release 7.0.1.6) was issued in August 2020. This is NOT the latest release of Avaya Desktop Wallboard. The latest release is recommended for new development.

Avaya Desktop Wallboard Release 7.0.1.6 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Messages can now be static in addition to scrolling.
  • Supervisors can now request a read-receipt to check the recipient list of pop-up alerts.
  • Messages can now be sent to a group of users by using the group level filter in the admin portal.
  • Existing overhead messages can now be edited in the admin portal.
  • Call direction can be displayed using “IN/OUT” on the dashboard instead of numeric.
  • Improvements to the Web Client user interface.
  • The agent dashboard can present the service level widget.
  • Login option through SSO using SAML integration with Active Directory Federated Service.
  • Allow duplicate descriptions for different marquee items.
  • Support for multiple table views in the overhead dashboard.
  • Provide marquee settings separately in the admin portal.
  • Allow ordering of statistics and metrics in the marquee.
  • Direct root access using SSH to ADW server nodes disabled for security reasons.
  • Added options for configuring logging to syslog.
  • REST API for messaging to integrate with third party system for sending messages on dashboard.
