» Is there an API to create a Campaign Strategy, 01/10/2018 08:26:52

Hello,
I am wondering if there is an API that will allow you to programatically create a campaign strategy. We have a situation where the strategy may dynamically change and would like to be able to run a script that will automatically generate the campaign strategy. What I have tried thus far is to export the campaign strategy XML and then try to create JAVA objects based on the generated XML. However, it would appear that importing will not work since there appears to be some type of checksum value that validates the XML in the POM.
Basically what we would like to do is make calls to different customers based on the timezone. Calls may be sent to the contact list outside the call times so the calls will have to remain queued until the time window opens.
Thanks in advance

OK I have been doing a lot of testing. I am able to reproduce this problem with the AvayaSMS application. Every time I send a SMS message a sessionTimerExit thread is created and never terminates. I have attached the log trace from the application (very small only one text message).
What I have noticed is that hte GetPlatformParams: Timestamp is 04/07/17 13:44:19. Not sure if this is an issue but wanted to point it out.
21/06/2018 14:20:44:935 DEBUG - 5011A5F2220C591A3119D0C36897A51F:/AvayaPOMSMS : PlatformParams:getPlatformParams: __VPVarGlobalDate is 1491587059987
21/06/2018 14:20:44:936 DEBUG - 5011A5F2220C591A3119D0C36897A51F:/AvayaPOMSMS : PlatformParams:getPlatformParams:Timestamp is 04/07/17 13:44:19
In production 1000's of these threads are spawned when under normal conditions I typically have about 60 threads running.
There is nothing in the catalina log that indicates any exception.
The runtime-version on the server is 7.1 since I have AAOD 7.1 application running on this server. The AvayaSMS application has a runtime version of 7.0.
The log file shows the following:
3:<meta name="runtime-version" content="07.00.18.01"/>
4:<meta name="runtimecommon-version" content="07.10.12.02"/>
5:<meta name="copyright" content="Copyright (c) 2002-2011, Avaya"/>
The newer version, I was told, is backwards compatible. The text does get delivered. However the thread never dies.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hello,
Daily, we are getting OutOfMemory: Java heap space errors on the Tomcat server. We allocated 4gig of memory for the tomcat JVM. When I look at the server through VisualVM (similar to JConsole) I am seeing 100's of SessionExitTimer threads. These threads don't appear to be closing which appears to be the reason of the out of memory errors. When this occurs Tomcat freezes and all IVR functionality fails. What is creating the SessionExitTimer? What logs should I capture to determine the root cause? Also these threads appear to created during email campaigns.
Nothing has changed recently. We did change out runtime jars on the application server to accommodate the new AAOD application that was deployed. However this was done months ago and the problem did not appear. Also, I was told that the runtime jars are backwards compatible.

I was able to get pooling working with the embedded tomcat pooling. I realized I don't have to use the data pooling from DBCP. I am using the embedded tomcat pooling instead.
Here is my context file

Hello,
I am trying to configure the data pooling for one of my AAOD 7.2 applications (Apache 7.0) My context.xml is
<Resource auth="Container" driver="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver" factory="org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.cpdsadapter.DriverAdapterCPDS" name="jdbc/LoggingDatabaseCPDS" type="org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.cpdsadapter.DriverAdapterCPDS" url="jdbc:mysql://10.96.41.24/logging?useSSL=false"/>
<Resource auth="Container" dataSourceName="java:/comp/env/jdbc/LoggingDatabaseCPDS" defaultMaxActive="30" defaultMaxIdle="30" defaultMaxWait="50000" factory="org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSourceFactory" logAbandoned="true" name="jdbc/LoggingDatabase" removeAbandoned="true" removeAbandonedTimeout="300" testOnBorrow="true" type="org.apache.tomcat.dbcp.dbcp.datasources.PerUserPoolDataSource" validationQuery="select 1 from DUAL"/>
</Context>
However when I look at connected threads on my database I don't see anything near the 30 threads that I have allocated for this application. Also, "defaultMaxActive", "defaultMaxIdle" and "defaultMaxWait" don't seem to be attributes that are available on Apaches Commons DBCP. Am I missing a configuration here?

I have following system versions:
EPM 7.0.2.0.0317
MPP 7.0.2.0.0303
POM 3.00.01.00.150
The problem is the one of the system completion codes do not get updated when the code is 'Attempt_Timeout'. What I would expect to see for the contact is a completion code ID of 39 (one of the system defaulted codes). However I see NULL for that contact's last_completion_code. That NULL should be 39. Has anyone experienced something similar where completion codes are not being updated?
Thanks

» Call is running through the Speech applicaiton twice, 28/03/2018 13:39:33

I have a weird situation for a Speech application. When I make a single call it appears as though the call is executing the speech application twice. The call flow is repeated twice with different session ID's however with the same caller information. The application is just one main application that makes a call reminds people of an upcoming appointment. I have no idea why. How i found this out is that I was getting a primary key constraint error. After the call is disconnected, I have a clean up routine that writes some data to an MS SQL database. The primary key is the unique contact ID. This was being violated since that particular servlet was running twice and trying to add a duplicate row. I have attached some trace logs (this is from the "NewIVRtrace one call.log").
Line 1 shows: 28/03/2018 11:04:11:0635 INFO - E353591711BFAFA5D8C609CD3CB66758:/NewIVR : SCESession bound to HttpSession E353591711BFAFA5D8C609CD3CB66758

Now here is the duplicate. (Notice different HTTP SessionID)
Line 601 shows: 28/03/2018 11:04:40:0795 INFO - 01E82837C54D337156981DD6BE35F3F0:/NewIVR : SCESession bound to HttpSession 01E82837C54D337156981DD6BE35F3F0
Notice the same pomInfo:sessionID as above
Line 617 shows: 28/03/2018 11:04:40:0801 INFO - 01E82837C54D337156981DD6BE35F3F0:/NewIVR : Storing :pomInfo___SessionID to complex: pomInfo:SessionID as [409226]

The contact list only shows one contact in it. So somehow each node is being executed again. What is also interesting, is that this call goes to voice mail. With the first HTTP session the call is classified as "Answer_human". With the 2nd HTTP session the call is "Answer_Machine" (which is correct).
What other logs can help me with deciphering this issue?
What information do you need from me to help diagnose?

I have an older speech application that was built on the following platform and framework:
Avaya ADE Framework 7.0.1.0804
AAOD Call Control (CCXML) 7.0.1.0804
AAOD Developer Guide 7.0.1.0804
AAOD Self Service 7.0.1.0804
Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Connector 3.0.3.007
I created a new speech application that does the same thing, however it is built using the following framework
Avaya ADE Framework 7.1.0.1202
AAOD Call Control (CCXML) 7.1.0.1202
AAOD Developer Guide 7.1.0.1202
AAOD Designer Self Service 7.1.0.1202
Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Connector 3.0.5.005
Both application run on Avaya Aura® Experience Portal 7.0.2
Call classification is turned on for both applications and with the same call configurations.
When I tested (using the same phone number and provider)
The old application has no problem playing the prompts.
However with the new application, the system detects a user hangup, sometime during the playing of the prompts and subsequently ends the call.
I am trying to debug why, does the system detect the hangup when in the first application, to the same number, has no problem. Is there a log that I can pull that will give more detail as to why? Is there something to do with the versions of AAOD? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

I have the following AAOD and POM versions installed.
Avaya ADE Framework 7.1.0.1202
Avaya Proactive Outreach Manager Connector 3.0.5.005
I have a servlet that has the following code:
IComplexVariable pomInfo = mySession.getVariable(IProjectVariables.POM_INFO).getComplexVariable();
String patientPhoneNumber = mySession.getVariable(IProjectVariables.POM_INFO).getComplexVariable().getField("PhoneNumber1").getStringValue();
String firstName = mySession.getVariable(IProjectVariables.POM_INFO).getComplexVariable().getField("FirstName").getStringValue();
String lastName = mySession.getVariable(IProjectVariables.POM_INFO).getComplexVariable().getField("LastName").getStringValue();
String contactGroupName = mySession.getVariable(IProjectVariables.POM_INFO).getComplexVariable().getField("ContactGroupName").getStringValue();
I have no problem calling the web service SaveContactToList and AddContactFromListToJob. I can see the contact information added to the database. However only some of the fields are populated when I reference the pomInfo in the above code. This is what's populated (I used "trace" in one of the subsequent data servlets to get this information):
pomInfo : FirstName :
pomInfo : LastName :
pomInfo : ContactGroupName : PickupReminderVoice
pomInfo : PhoneNumber1 :
pomInfo : ContactID : 1011504
pomInfo : CampaignName :
pomInfo : CompletionCode : Answer_Human

pomInfo : JobID : 1090
pomInfo : PrimaryPomServer : 10.96.41.20
pomInfo : PrimaryPomServer : 10.96.41.20
pomInfo : Title :
So the FirstName, LastName, PhoneNumber1, CampaignName, AddressLine1, and Title are all blank. Yet, everything else is populated. So not sure what the problem is. Is there something I am missing or not taking into account?
One thing I did test. If I add a data node prior to calling my servlet with a getContactInfo:dynamicAttributes from the palette. Then the information is populated. However theses are not dynamic attributes but the default pomInfo.
Thanks

Thanks Wilson,
So originally I was setting the phraseset audio files URL in a custom servlet before playing the prompt. I deleted this code and just used a data node prior to the prompt node and assigned the prompt URL using the assign operation.
I put in trace statements prior to the assignment and after the assignment. The variable is changed, however in the <audio src> attribute in the VXML file shows the old variable (like it ignores the variable change).

<audio src="/hello_this_is_rexall_pharma_plus_pharmacy_at.wav">Hello this is Rexall Pharma Plus pharmacy at</audio>
What I am expecting for the audio source is:
<audio src="http://10.96.41.24:8080/audio/English/female/obprompts/hello_this_is_rexall_pharma_plus_pharmacy_at.wav">Hello this is Rexall Pharma Plus pharmacy at</audio>
It feels like AODD is not changing the variable at run-time. Any suggestions? I would upgrade to 7.1 but would i then have to upgrade the EPM?
Thanks
Kurt
