I have a single application and we have a requirement to access two different data bases - One SQL and other Oracle data base.Few DBOP file uses first DS and few should use second one.
Is it feasible?
I know project.xml will have connection string with DB details.Is it possible to accomodate both connection string in single .xml file.

There it looks fine..Not all logs look discontinous.Only for few UCIDs say 1 in 100 calls I find them broken.

Hi,

Today we had just logged onto our production system which had hosted our tomcat 6.
All of a sudden i got call saying calls are not landing on IVR.They complained they are hearing message "Sorry I just can'r hear you".
Tomcat service was up,we had application WAR file.Not sure how it went down.

Then as a first step i just restarted tomcat service.In the process of stopping it got hung.Then we manually killed process and restarted service.
Then everything was okay.

Not sure waht had happened?Any thoughts on this.

I was checking application trace logs which are written by platform which indicates call flows.I observed discontinuity between 2 nodes.Say for example if call moves from node A to node B as per code , but in logs I am seeing control moving from node A to directly C.

I am not sure how come it jumped.

What may be the probable causes for this?

We exported OD application as class files instead of jar files.
I had a question here,
suppose if I manually replace a extracted class file with some older version of class file, will tomcat restart overwrite the class file with the one from existing WAR or it doesn't do anything for the web-inf classes?

Screen pop up application is developed on JTapi.Window pops up on ringing event on agent console.

This is the following scenario:
Agent X has answered the call.He is on the line with Customer
IVR tries to dial the same X agent's extension in the mean time.Will the ringing event be caught at agent Jtapi applicaion?
If yes how to avoid screen popping up until agent hungs up the call.

Thanks for response.I know we can do this.But my worry is we have quite large amount of data that needs to be pushed to multiple tables at multiple times in some scenarios.If ivr starts pushing data keeping caller on line,its performance might go down.Keeping ivr response time what is best way to achieve this?

Because of the constraint on UUI data size we are planning to push call data on database and then retrieve them at agent screen pop up.I had a question here.Can IVR dial the agent vdn and in the mean time push the call data to Data base, so that once agent picks the call he should be seeing all call data on his screen?
Is this multitasking feature available in OD?

Can I create a menu without prompt node inside it? I want to add propmts dynamically from menu.java file. Will this work?

One more question,
Suppose I create a menu node in OD, corresponding menu.java file will be created.Will that java file gets automatically deleted if we remove menu node from application.
Because I am seeing many old java files even though their correspoonding nodes are removed in application.

I know for every menu we create in the project , complex variable with same name will be created in project palette.I have many menus in the project,but I am not seeing any of them .What may be the reason for this?

property variables change is not so frequent.So Once they are changed tomcat will be restarted.
