Avaya Vantage is a powerful, high-resolution video and collaboration device with a built-in, SIP-based communication client that brings intelligent, high definition video and wide-band audio to the desktop phone. Designed for work from anywhere and supporting voice, video, chat, and data in the communication channel, the touch screen-based SIP phone provides a multi-dimensional, always-on, contextual communications experience. Start your communication from Avaya Vantage with just one click and extend the experience to an external display or to your PC. Or engage in team collaboration using the Avaya Vantage Spaces built-in application.

Applications can be written for Avaya Vantage using Android development tools and the Desk Phone Services Package of the Avaya Client Software Development Kit (SDK). This package provides API interfaces which use the special features of the Avaya Vantage device such as the switch hook, optional corded and cordless headsets, hardware-based echo cancellation, message waiting indicator, and other features not normally available on mobile phones, laptops, and tablets.

Using the Avaya Client SDK and Avaya Breeze platform, customers and developers can seamlessly integrate communications into business processes and create custom Vantage-based communication solutions that deliver the flexibility and agility businesses need to grow.

Please note that Avaya Vantage is not a Contact Center device and does not support the Contact Center features and functionality available in the Avaya Client SDK at this time.
