Latest Release: 9.1 (July 2022)

Release 9.1

Avaya Control Manager Release 9.1 was made generally available in July 2022. This is the latest release of Avaya Control Manager and is recommended for development.

Important The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for Avaya Control Manager as a stand-alone product. Other Avaya products, such as Avaya Oceana solution and Avaya Workspaces, contain Avaya Control Manager as a component. Support for the Avaya Control Manager component will continue as part of these solutions.
  • End of sale: December 4, 2023
  • End of support: January 4, 2026

What’s New in Release 9.1

Control Manager Release 9.1 introduced the following new and enhanced features:

  • Support for Avaya Aura platform 8.1.3.5 and Avaya Oceana Solution 3.8.2 and above.
  • Support for Avaya Workspaces for Elite 3.8 and above.
  • Security improvements including better server certificate validation for adjuncts and removal of Oracle library vulnerabilities.
  • Management improvements to Avaya Control Manager Installer.
  • Added test connection functionality for validating select adjunct systems.
  • Audit logging enhancements to include additional Avaya Oceana configurations.
  • Bulk portal enhancements and usability improvements.

The Avaya Control Manager API for use with this release is provided on the Avaya Control Manager Installation CD. See Chapter 4 of the Using Avaya Control Manager SOAP API guide for instructions on how to install the API.
