Release 4.2.1

Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services (AE Services) Release 4.2.1 was made generally available in August 2008. This is NOT the latest AE Services release and is out of support. The latest release is recommended for new development.

End of Sale & Support Notice Effective May 10th, 2010, Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services, Release 4.2 and earlier releases – including all corresponding dot releases of 4.2.x are End of Sale. The other important dates of these releases are, End of Manufacturer’s Support May 19th, 2011 and End of Services Support May 10th, 2012. For More Information

Features in the new release

AE Services 4.2.1 is the first release to be included within the Avaya Aura architecture, where it provides application enablement services for Avaya Aura Communication Manager release 5.2. AE Services release 4.2.1 includes:

  • New releases of all AE Services server software, SDKs and Clients
  • DMCC enhancements to H.323 signalling and bridge alert configuration
