Avaya Aura Application Enablement Services (AE Services) Release 4.2.4 was made generally available in August 2010. This is NOT the latest AE Services release and is out of support. The latest release is recommended for new development.

Features in the new release

AE Services Release 4.2.4 is a key component of the Avaya Aura architecture, where it provides application enablement services for Avaya Aura Communication Manager and Avaya Aura Communication Branch (via the TSAPI and JTAPI Clients). Updates in AE Services Release 4.2.4 include:

  • Bug fixes for AE Services 4.0, 4.0.1, 4.1, 4.2, 4.2.1, 4.2.2 and 4.2.3.
  • Continued support for Red Hat Linux 4.0 Update 7.
  • Compatibility with the S8500B, S8500C, S8510 and S8800 bundled servers.
  • Compatibility with Avaya Aura Communication Manager 4.x, 5.0, 5.1, 5.2 and 6.0.
