New features in SIP 7.0.1 include:
- New Hunt Group Busy button allows users to opt in or out of a hunt group and includes a visual indication of their status in that hunt group.
- Support for TLS 1.2.
New features in SIP 7.0 include:
- Support for Bluetooth headsets on 9641G and 9641GS deskphones.
- Service Observing from SIP Deskphones: The Service Observing feature allows a supervisor or other authorized user to use their SIP deskphone to activate an observing session towards a station, an agent LoginID or VDN to listen in and possibly talk on calls received by the station/agent or VDN for the purposes of quality control and training. This functionality requires Avaya Aura Call Center Elite 7.0.1.
- 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) media encryption
- Support for the reception and display of a “secure call indicator” that tells the end user when the signaling and media is secure.
- Support for RTCP-XR
