Release 3.8

The Avaya Breeze Platform Release 3.8 was made generally available in September 2020; Service Pack 1 (Release 3.8.1.1) was issued March 2022. This is NOT the latest release of the Avaya Breeze Platform. The latest release is recommended for new development.

IMPORTANT The following end of sale and end of support dates have been announced for the Avaya Breeze platform and selected snap-ins as stand-alone products. The Avaya Oceana Solution still depends on Avaya Breeze; therefore, the Avaya Oceana Solution offer includes Avaya Breeze, Context Store, Co-browsing, and Engagement Designer. Support for these components will continue as part of the Avaya Oceana Solution.

Avaya Breeze 3.8.1 includes the following new and enhanced features:

  • Updates to SAML reverse proxy authentication and authorization, enabling configuration of a reverse proxy URL fronting an Avaya Breeze platform cluster.
  • New audit rules to log attempts to tamper with failed login data and restricted files.
  • Support for new identity provider options, including AD2019, Azure, and Okta.

  • Support for System Manager Release 8.0.1.2, 8.1.2, and 8.1.3.

  • HTTP/HTTPS proxy exclusion enhancements.
  • The Engagement Call Control snap-in can now be configured to use the Authorization snapin for authentication and authorization purposes.
