Avaya Aura Presence Services Snap-in

Latest Release: 10.1 (December 2021)

Interfaces

DevConnect supports application development using the following Presence Services interfaces:

PS Connector

PS Connector is an Avaya Breeze snap-in service used by other Avaya Breeze snap-ins to set and get the presence status of provisioned presentities.

SIP

Used by generic third-party SIP based solutions that interoperate with Presence Services.

XMPP

Used by third-party solutions that interoperate with Presence Services using the Extensible Messaging and Presence Protocol (XMPP).

Local Presence Service (LPS) API

Note: Support for LPS API has been discontinued as of release 8.1. Developers should use the ReST API in the PS Connector SDK.
The LPS is a Java-based API that enables client applications to connect to Presence Services and subscribe to receive presentities' presence information, publish and update presence information for presentities and manage access to presentities' presence information by other users.
